Soffit Ridge ventilation
The technology of installation is unique and amazing.
On both sides of the roof 2" opening is cut
all along the ridge and is then covered by ridge
cap which creates opening for air flow.
This removes excessive heat and moisture out of
the attic.
Full Roof ventilation
Then the wood strapping* is installed on top of
the existing roof. This creates a minimum
of 2.5" air space in between the existing
roof and the new metal panels which serves as
a thermos that protects against condensation effect.
*Please note we never use metal strapping.
Though it is cheaper and many competitors use
it to save money it significantly decreases the
strength of the structure. The screw in
a wood strapping has full 1.5" grip space
inside the wood, compared to metal strapping of
only 0.1" grip.
